Zinc metal carboxylates as potential anti-Alzheimer's candidate: in vitro anticholinesterase, antioxidant and molecular docking studies

Rehman Zafar et al.

Summary: In the search for suitable therapy for Alzheimer's disease, zinc metal carboxylates were evaluated against AChE and BChE, showing potential in managing the disease through anticholinesterase and antioxidant activities. Molecular docking studies further confirmed the strong interactions of these compounds with targeted proteins, indicating their potency in Alzheimer's disease management.
