Microstructure evolution and mechanical properties for rapidly solidified Cu-3Ag-0.5Zr alloy during isothermal compression

Summary: Compression experiments showed that the strength of Cu-3Ag-0.5Zr alloy decreased continuously with temperature increasing at elevated temperatures, due to the aggregation and growth of Ag particles, as well as the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization. Additionally, both discontinuous dynamic recrystallization (DDRX) and continuous dynamic recrystallization (CDRX) were observed simultaneously during compression at elevated temperatures.

However, excessive lanthanum addition may lead to the formation of intermetallic phases, which in turn reduces tensile properties.
