Isotope chemometrics determines farming methods and geographical origin of vegetables from Yangtze River Delta Region, China

Xing Liu et al.

Summary: This study used a combination of indicators and machine learning methods to detect geographical mislabeling issues in Shanghai's vegetables, identifying a certain percentage cultivated using green or organic farming methods. SVM method was effective in distinguishing Shanghai vegetables, while differentiation between Anhui and Zhejiang vegetables proved to be challenging.
