The ultra-high-TP charge-density wave in the monoclinic phase of NbS3

S. G. Zybtsev et al.

Summary: High temperature studies of the monoclinic phase of NbS3 (NbS3-II) show stable behavior up to around 550K, with clear evidence of charge-density wave (CDW) sliding around 450-475K. The high density charges condensed in the CDW exhibit extremely low mobility, leading to surprising dielectric-like temperature variations in conductivity above the CDW formation temperature.
