Catalpol ameliorates psoriasis-like phenotypes via SIRT1 mediated suppression of NF-κB and MAPKs signaling pathways

Aimin Liu et al.

Summary: This study aims to investigate the therapeutic role of catalpol in psoriasis, and the results suggest that catalpol may ameliorate psoriasis symptoms by reducing oxidative stress and inflammation, possibly through SIRT1-mediated suppression of NF-.B and MAPKs pathways.

Suppression of neuropeptide by botulinum toxin improves imiquimod-induced psoriasis-like dermatitis via the regulation of neuroimmune system

Syahla Nisaa Amalia et al.

Summary: This study aimed to investigate the role of neuropeptides secreted from neurons in the pathogenesis of psoriasis. It was found that inhibiting neuropeptide release using Botulinum toxin B can alleviate inflammation, immune cell infiltration, and IL-17 production, leading to an improvement in psoriasis symptoms. Neuropeptide inhibitors could be a potential treatment option for psoriasis.
