Summary: The study observed morpho-physiological changes in Arabidopsis plants acclimated to long-term combined cold and water deficit stresses, leading to growth limitation and delays in bolting, flowering, and silique development. Results demonstrated severe morpho-anatomical alterations after acclimation to combined stress, with reduced flower and silique numbers. However, these traits were recovered after deacclimation to optimal conditions, suggesting an alternating dominance of stresses based on plant stage development.
