Efficacy of platelet-rich fibrin compared with triamcinolone acetonide as injective therapy in the treatment of symptomatic oral lichen planus: a pilot study

Francesco Bennardo et al.

Summary: This study compared the efficacy of platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and triamcinolone acetonide (TA) injections in treating symptomatic oral lichen planus (OLP) lesions. Results showed that both PRF and TA were effective in reducing lesion extension and symptomatology, with no significant differences between the two treatments.
