Plasma Hsp90 levels in patients with systemic sclerosis and relation to lung and skin involvement: a cross-sectional and longitudinal study

Hana Storkanova et al.

Summary: According to the study, plasma levels of Hsp90 are increased in patients with systemic sclerosis compared to healthy controls, and are associated with increased inflammatory activity, worsened lung function, and extent of skin involvement in patients with diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis. In patients with systemic sclerosis-associated interstitial lung disease treated with cyclophosphamide, baseline Hsp90 levels can predict changes in DLCO over 12 months of therapy.

Impact of magnetic dipole on ferromagnetic hybrid nanofluid flow over a stretching cylinder

R. Naveen Kumar et al.

Summary: This study compares the heat and mass transfer of two different combinations of hybrid nanofluids on a stretching cylinder under the influence of a magnetic dipole. The results show that increasing the ferromagnetic interaction parameter decreases velocity but increases temperature and concentration. Additionally, an increase in the ferromagnetic interaction parameter leads to a decrease in the rate of heat and mass transfer.

Impact of Binary Chemical Reaction and Activation Energy on Heat and Mass Transfer of Marangoni Driven Boundary Layer Flow of a Non-Newtonian Nanofluid

Ramanahalli Jayadevamurthy Punith Gowda et al.

Summary: Studied the steady Marangoni driven boundary layer flow, heat and mass transfer characteristics of a nanofluid, results showed that increasing Marangoni number improves velocity gradient and reduces heat transfer, while increasing porosity parameter reduces velocity gradient and improves heat transfer, Nusselt number decreases as porosity parameter increases.

Numerical simulation of AA7072-AA7075/water-based hybrid nanofluid flow over a curved stretching sheet with Newtonian heating: A non-Fourier heat flux model approach

J. K. Madhukesh et al.

Summary: The study investigates the flow and heat transfer characteristics of AA7072-AA7075/water-based hybrid nanofluid over a curved stretching sheet, showing that increasing curvature, Newtonian heating, and thermal relaxation parameters improves the heat transfer rate. Novelty lies in the thermal mechanism analysis of AA7072-AA7075 nanoparticles for enhancing heat transfer performance.

Two-phase flow of dusty fluid with suspended hybrid nanoparticles over a stretching cylinder with modified Fourier heat flux

R. S. Varun Kumar et al.

Summary: This study examines the influence of hybrid nanoparticles on dusty liquid flow through a stretching cylinder using the modified Fourier heat flux law and a two-phase model. The results indicate that an increase in particle mass concentration leads to a decrease in velocity and thermal gradient, while an increase in the curvature parameter enhances velocity and thermal gradient within the boundary. The use of appropriate similarity variables allows for the numerical solution of the nonlinear ODEs through the Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method.

Hybrid nanofluid flow over a stretched cylinder with the impact of homogeneous-heterogeneous reactions and Cattaneo-Christov heat flux: Series solution and numerical simulation

Anthonysamy John Christopher et al.

Summary: The study focuses on the influence of the Catteno-Christov heat flux model on Darcy-Forchheimer flow of a hybrid nanofluid in a porous medium, showing different parameters have varying effects on velocity, thermal, and concentration profiles. Results indicate that an increase in porosity parameter decreases velocity gradient but increases thermal and concentration gradients, while a tilt in magnetic parameter decreases velocity and concentration profiles.

Summary: This study focuses on the impact of the melting effect and magnetic field on inhomogeneous heat sources and sinks, using a mathematical model considering fluid with hybrid nanoparticles and dust particles. The results show that increasing certain physical parameters significantly alters the velocity and thermal profiles, with graphs illustrating the effects on convective flow behavior and thermal characteristics.
