An improved reliability model for FMEA using probabilistic linguistic term sets and TODIM method

Jia Huang et al.

Summary: This paper proposes a new FMEA model to evaluate and prioritize the risk of failure modes by integrating probabilistic linguistic term sets and TODIM method. The probabilistic linguistic term sets handle the ambiguity in risk assessments, while an extended TODIM method determines the priority ranking of failure modes. Additionally, an objective weighting method based on TOPSIS is presented to derive the relative weights of risk factors.

TODIM method for multiple attribute group decision making based on cumulative prospect theory with 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic sets

Mengwei Zhao et al.

Summary: The article presents a new solution for MAGDM problems, the CPT-2TLN-TODIM method, which integrates cumulative prospect theory and 2-tuple linguistic neutrosophic sets to ensure relatively objective attribute weights. The method considers the psychological state of decision makers and has been applied in network security assessment team to verify its practicability. The reliability of the method is confirmed through comparison with other existing methods, indicating potential for further exploration in different fields.

A novel q-rung orthopair fuzzy TODIM approach for multi-criteria group decision making based on Shapley value and relative entropy

Liuxin Chen et al.

Summary: In this paper, a MCGDM approach named TODIM is presented using q-rung orthopair fuzzy information. The approach calculates the weights of DMs based on relative entropy and evaluates dominance matrices with q-rung orthopair fuzzy information. The efficacy of the proposed TODIM approach is demonstrated through a selection problem of modern enterprises risk investment and compared with existing methods to validate its efficiency.

A probabilistic linguistic TODIM method considering cumulative probability-based Hellinger distance and its application in waste mobile phone recycling

Jiaying Chang et al.

Summary: The study proposes a novel decision-making method to evaluate mobile phone recycling channels using the probabilistic linguistic term set (PLTS) in an uncertain environment. A cumulative probability-based Hellinger distance measure of PLTSs is introduced, along with an extension of the TODIM method considering bounded rationality and psychology of decision-makers. The proposed method is illustrated with an example of evaluating recycling channels of mobile phones, showing its efficiency and potential application in various fields.
