The deformation behavior of cement mortar was studied under different loading patterns, analyzing the elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio at various deviatoric stress levels. Additionally, scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy tests were conducted to examine the mechanical properties and failure mechanism for the different loading patterns.
The deformation behavior of cement mortar was examined using triaxial monotonic loading and triaxial cyclic loading tests. Triaxial cyclic loading tests were carried out with an increasing, decreasing, and constant deviatoric stress lower limit. The deformation and strength characteristics of cement mortar samples under different loading patterns were discussed. The elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio of each deviatoric stress level were analyzed and compared. Scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectroscopy tests were conducted on the failed cement mortar samples to examine the mechanical properties and failure mechanism for the various loading patterns.
