Summary: A new model for multi-criteria group decision making is developed, taking into account the influence of decision makers' opinions on each other and their subjective bounded rationality. This model integrates the extended generalized TODIM method and quantum decision theory to improve decision accuracy and stability through linguistic distribution assessments and a quantum possibilistic aggregation framework.

A New Approach for Occupational Risk Evaluation of Natural Gas Pipeline Construction with Extended Cumulative Prospect Theory

Weizhong Wang et al.

Summary: The construction of natural gas pipelines presents various high-risk occupational hazards, which require occupational risk evaluation to reduce and manage these risks. Existing techniques overlook decision-makers' different risk perceptions under varying probabilities and fail to address correlated risk parameters. The proposed extended occupational risk evaluation method integrates cloud model, cumulative prospect theory, and Bonferroni mean operator to provide a comprehensive and reliable evaluation of occupational hazards. Testing with a specific concrete coating procedure validates the rationality and reliability of the proposed method.

Linguistic Distribution and Priority-Based Approximation to Linguistic Preference Relations With Flexible Linguistic Expressions in Decision Making

Yuzhu Wu et al.

Summary: This article introduces the concept of flexible linguistic preference relations (FLPRs) and proposes a method to rank alternatives based on FLPRs by exploring linguistic distribution (LD) and priority-based approximation (PA). By approximating FLPRs to distribution linguistic preference relations (DLPRs) and deriving priority vectors with desired properties, the proposed method is illustrated through a comparative analysis of priority vectors derived from different types of linguistic preference relations.
