Correlation Analysis and Augmentation of Samples for a Bidirectional Gate Recurrent Unit Network for the Remaining Useful Life Prediction of Bearings

Bo Fu et al.

Summary: This study proposed a novel method for predicting the remaining useful life of bearings using data augmentation and deep bidirectional gate recurrent unit (DBGRU) to address the challenge of effective retention of degradation information in small samples. Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed method exhibited good prediction accuracy and robustness for different working conditions.
