This article reviews the current status of model building for light dark matter in theories of QCD-like gauge groups in the hidden sector, focusing on dark mesons with SU(3)(V) flavor symmetry in scenarios of Strongly Interacting Massive Particles. The production mechanism and kinetic equilibrium condition for dark mesons are discussed, along with a unitarization of dark chiral perturbation theory with vector mesons in the scheme of hidden gauge symmetry.
We review the current status of model building for light dark matter in theories of QCD-like gauge groups in the hidden sector. The focus is upon the dark mesons with the SU(3)(V) flavor symmetry in scenarios of Strongly Interacting Massive Particles. We show the production mechanism and the kinetic equilibrium condition for dark mesons and discuss a unitarization of dark chiral perturbation theory with vector mesons in the scheme of hidden gauge symmetry.
