Microwave treatment combined with wetting agent for an efficient flotation separation of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) from plastic mixtures

Summary: A novel surface treatment method combining microwave treatment with a wetting agent was proposed to selectively separate ABS from WEEE plastics, achieving a high recovery rate and purity. The optimal conditions and the mechanism of the surface treatment were investigated, providing technological insights for the separation and recovery of waste ABS from WEEE plastics.
