Enhanced petri nets for traceability of food management using internet of things

S. Balamurugan et al.

Summary: This paper proposes efficient food traceability management techniques using the Internet of things and an enhanced Petri net model, demonstrating the application of food traceability for automation, cost reduction, and system complexity reduction. The IoT-based smart transportation system connects producers and customers, providing a low-cost solution for food traceability. Experimental results show that the Enhanced Petri Net algorithm is more efficient compared to K-means and SOM methods.
