Economic Analysis of Measures for GHG Emission Reduction

Summary: The European Union aims to achieve climate neutrality by 2050 and extend the actions under the Paris Agreement to the Western Balkans to push for a climate neutral agenda. The analysis results show that by reconstructing thermal power plants, increasing the use of renewable energy sources, and improving energy efficiency, the largest reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in Montenegro in the next 10 years is expected to come from the energy sector.
