Intrinsic property and catalytic performance of single and double metal atoms incorporated g-C3N4 for O2 activation: A DFT insight

Thantip Roongcharoen et al.

Summary: The study investigated the intrinsic properties and catalytic performances of single- and double-transition metals on graphitic carbon nitride for O-2 activation using DFT calculation. The results showed that Fe-2@g-C3N4 had the best catalytic performance with the lowest activation energy barrier of 0.26 eV for O-2 activation, making it a potential catalyst for O-2 consuming reactions.
