Dynamic Connectivity Alteration Facilitates Cognitive Decline in Alzheimer's Disease Spectrum

Qing Wang et al.

Summary: The study investigated the association between alterations in the dynamic brain network and cognitive decline in the Alzheimer's disease spectrum. Two distinct patterns of connectivity changes within and between resting-state networks were identified, which were significantly correlated with molecular biomarkers of AD, cognitive performance, and genetic risk factors.

EEG-Derived Functional Connectivity Patterns Associated with Mild Cognitive Impairment in Parkinson's Disease

Alejandro Armando Pelaez Suarez et al.

Summary: The study evaluated EEG-derived functional connectivity patterns associated with mild cognitive impairment in Parkinson's disease and found that patients with MCI had reduced connectivity in different frequency bands. The neural networks of PD-MCI patients exhibited a random topology, similar to those without MCI.
