Point-wise correlations between 10-2 Humphrey visual field and OCT data in open angle glaucoma

Paola Cirafici et al.

Summary: Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is an effective tool for detecting and monitoring glaucoma. This study showed that there is a strong correlation between retinal thickness and visual sensitivities, and OCT data can accurately predict glaucoma stage. Ganglion cell complex and RNFL thickness measurements are considered promising metrics for glaucoma detection and monitoring.

Value of 10-2 Visual Field Testing in Glaucoma Patients with Early 24-2 Visual Field Loss

Michael E. West et al.

Summary: In the study comparing the 24-2 and 10-2 tests in glaucoma patients with early damage, it was found that the AUC values were not significantly different between the two tests, but the sensitivity of the 24-2 test was higher at matched specificity. The repeatability of test results during follow-up ranged from 55% to 70%.
