Rare Copy Number Variants Are Associated With Poorer Cognition in Schizophrenia

Summary: The study found that individuals with schizophrenia who carry schizophrenia CNVs tend to have lower cognitive abilities. Rare CNVs hitting genes intolerant to loss-of-function in the schizophrenia-enriched gene sets lead to more severe cognitive impairment.
