The role of Dipeptidyl Peptidase-4 in cutaneous disease

Payal M. Patel et al.

Summary: DPP4 is a multifunctional glycoprotein involved in T-cell biology and the regulation of immune responses. It interacts with a variety of molecules to modulate cell adhesion and chemokine activity. DPP4 expression and inhibition play crucial roles in various skin diseases.

How to detect eosinophil ETosis (EETosis) and extracellular traps

Mineyo Fukuchi et al.

Summary: Eosinophils, although a small population, play multifunctional roles in homeostasis and diseases, including releasing eosinophil extracellular traps leading to cell death. Recent studies suggest a close association between EETosis and the classical pathological feature of eosinophilic inflammation, Charcot-Leyden crystals. While there is currently no gold standard for identifying EETosis, the release of cell contents may be a common feature.
