Growth, calcium content, proximate composition, and fatty acid composition of triangle sail mussel (Hyriopsis cumingii) fed five different microalgal diets

Qiang Chen et al.

Summary: The sustainable cultivation of triangle sail mussel Hyriopsis cumingii is hindered by the lack of a suitable diet. Through single factor experiments, it was found that Cyclotella sp. was the optimal microalgal diet for H. cumingii, followed by Scenedesmus dimorphus.

Influence of diet shift from bloodworm to formulated feed on growth performance, gut microbiota structure and function in early juvenile stages of hybrid sturgeon (Acipenser baerii x Acipenser schrenckii)

Qiang Hao et al.

Summary: The study found that compared to bloodworm, formulated feed improved the weight gain rate and feed conversion ratio of sturgeon, but led to dysbiosis in the intestinal microbiota, negatively impacting the immune response of GF zebrafish and reducing their resistance to pathogenic bacteria.
