We introduce a new method to find an alpha-exponential estimate for a class of positive discrete time-delay systems. Instead of using a constant factor, our novel approach involves a decreasing factor function to provide a smaller estimate for the system. The effectiveness of our results is demonstrated through a numerical example.
We present a new method to find an alpha-exponential estimate for a class of positive discrete time-delay systems. Rather than finding an alpha-exponential estimate with a constant factor as in most of existing results, our novel idea is to find an alpha-exponential estimate with a decreasing factor function. As a result, we provide a smaller alpha-exponential estimate for the system. The effectiveness of the obtained result is illustrated through a numerical example. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd.
