Quinoline-based aggregation-induced delayed fluorescence materials for highly efficient non-doped organic light-emitting diodes

Liang Zhang et al.

Summary: Three new emitters with quinoline as a new electron acceptor were designed and synthesized, showing thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) properties and aggregation-induced emission (ALE) feature. High-performance non-doped OLEDs based on these emitters achieved excellent maximum external quantum efficiencies (EQE(max)), indicating their promising application in OLEDs.

Chen Liao et al.

Summary: The work describes the construction of a novel planar chiral [2.2]paracyclophane-based TADF-active molecule with CPL, which exhibits highly efficient luminescence performances and excellent CPL properties. The enantiomers show excellent TADF activities and the molecule has a small energy difference between singlet and triplet states. Additionally, a solution-processed yellow CP-OLEDs based on the molecule demonstrates high brightness, external quantum efficiency, and CPL signal.
