Composition of Intracellular Protein Corona around Nanoparticles during Internalization

Chuan Wang et al.

Summary: This study used a PFA cross-linking strategy to stabilize the composition of protein corona around intracellular nanoparticles, revealing that the corona is mainly composed of cell-derived proteins and undergoes significant changes over time during internalization. The results indicate that AuNPs are predominantly endocytosed through a clathrin-mediated pathway into an endolysosomal pathway.

A Cysteine-Mediated Synthesis of Red Phosphorus Nanosheets

Jianbin Mo et al.

Summary: The study introduces an efficient method for fabricating red phosphorus nanosheets using cysteine as a reducing reagent, and reveals the shape-dependent mechanism of RPNSs in inducing cell death. This research provides new insights into the application of phosphorus-based materials in nanomedicines.
