Heterogeneously structured phase-change materials and memory

Wonjun Yang et al.

Summary: Phase-change memory (PCM) is a promising non-volatile storage technology, but it has technical limitations. Recently, heterogeneously structured PCMs (HET-PCMs) have shown significant performance enhancement by addressing these inherent limitations through hetero-assembling phase-change materials with functional materials. Compared to conventional alloy-type PCMs, HET-PCMs have improved thermal stability, endurance, speed, and resistance drift.
