The challenge to define the optimal prophylactic regimen for vitamin K deficiency bleeding in infants

Chiara Lembo et al.

Intracranial hemorrhage in primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP): 20 years' experience in pediatrics

Mohsen Saleh Elalfy et al.

Summary: This study evaluated the changes in incidence, risk factors, and outcomes of ICH in children with ITP over different time periods. It found that persistent low platelet counts < 10 x 10^9/L were significant risk factors for ICH in both time periods, while head trauma and hematuria were more commonly associated with ICH in the most recent study. Outcome was found to be comparable in both time periods.
