Associations between IVIM histogram parameters and histopathology in rectal cancer

Hans-Jonas Meyer et al.

Summary: Histogram analysis from IVIM imaging can provide insights into tumor heterogeneity in rectal cancer. There are significant correlations between Ki 67 index and parameters from ADC and f maps, as well as between MVD and parameters derived from the f map. IVIM analysis parameters can reflect histopathological features in rectal cancer, with ADC and D values associated with proliferation potential and perfusion fraction f associated with microvessel density.

Relationships between apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) histogram analysis parameters and PD-L 1-expression in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas: a preliminary study

Hans-Jonas Meyer et al.

Summary: This study used diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI) to quantify the whole lesion apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values and found a weak association between skewness derived from ADC values and programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in head and neck squamous cell cancer (HNSCC). The maximum ADC value tended to correlate with immune cell score (ICS). Other ADC parameters did not show any significant associations with PD-L1 expression.
