The Application of Machine Learning for Cultivar Discrimination of Sweet Cherry Endocarp

Summary: This study evaluated the usefulness of texture and geometric parameters of endocarp for distinguishing different cultivars of sweet cherries using image analysis. The results show high accuracy for discriminating 'Kordia' vs. 'Lapins', 'Kordia' vs. 'Buttner's Red', while slightly lower accuracies for discriminating 'Lapins' vs. 'Buttner's Red'.
