The Need for Nurse Interventions in Sex Education in Adolescents

Summary: The study found that adolescents primarily get information on sexual health and reproductive health from their parents and friends, with varying expectations on the role of school nurses in sexual education. There were differences between boys and girls in terms of the competent professionals in the field of sexual education, with girls placing more importance on the role of a school nurse in addressing healthy lifestyle, sexuality, parenting, and marriage issues.
