Summary: The applications of nanotechnology in various spheres have increased significantly, with nanoemulsions being a widely studied system with promising potential in solving delivery issues of drugs, pesticides, and other bioactive substances. Nanoemulsions also have wide applications in food, cosmetics, skincare, and agriculture. In this review, the methods of nanoemulsion preparation and various synthesis methods, along with major applications in different fields of science and technology, are discussed and compared.
