Summary: The pre-existing challenges in Nurse Education in the UK included meeting new educational standards and addressing workforce deficits. The COVID-19 pandemic forced Nurse Educators to rapidly adopt online teaching methods, leading to a necessary and inevitable transition. Nurse Educators must lead the way in navigating this period of uncertainty and seize the opportunity to plan for the future of online teaching in a post-COVID-19 world.
