Effect of restorative timing on shear bond strength of composite resin/calcium silicate-based cements adhesive interfaces

Paulo J. Palma et al.

Summary: The study aimed to evaluate the shear bond strength of immediate and delayed definitive composite resin restorations on three different biomaterials. Results showed that Biodentine had the highest bond strength in the immediate restoration group, and both Biodentine and TotalFill had the highest bond strength in the delayed restoration group, with a statistically significant association between fracture type and biomaterial.
