Quantitative and dynamic cell polarity tracking in plant cells

Yan Gong et al.

Summary: Pome is a versatile tool for quantifying cell polarity in various developmental contexts. Analysis in the Arabidopsis thaliana stomatal lineage reveals that the asynchrony and mutual dependency of polarity proteins are greater than previously thought. Analysis in the Brachypodium distachyon stomatal lineage shows that MAPKKK BdYDA1 is segregated and polarized following asymmetrical divisions.
