Summary: The study found that lake volume changes on the Tibetan Plateau are predominantly driven by enhanced precipitation, but the effects are spatially heterogeneous. Particularly after 1995, glacier-fed lakes showed a significant increase in water volume, while non-glacier-fed lakes had a smaller increase.
