Deep Transfer Learning Based Classification Model for COVID-19 Disease

Y. Pathak et al.

Summary: The COVID-19 infection is rapidly spreading, but there is a limited availability of testing kits. Thus, the development of COVID-19 testing kits is an ongoing area of research. Recent studies have shown that chest CT images can be used for COVID-19 testing and classification, but predicting bilateral changes poses challenges. In this paper, a deep transfer learning technique is employed along with cost-sensitive attributes to address the issues with noisy and imbalanced COVID-19 dataset. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed deep transfer learning-based COVID-19 classification model compared to other supervised learning models.

Radiology indispensable for tracking COVID-19

Jingwen Li et al.

Summary: Early detection and efficient isolation of suspected patients are crucial in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. Utilizing imaging technologies, especially chest computed tomography, plays a critical role in aiding the screen and diagnosis of suspected patients. Other radiological methods also show significant advantages in detecting COVID-19 pneumonia.
