The effectiveness and impact on performance of pharmacy-related competency development frameworks: A systematic review and meta-analysis

Summary: The use of competency frameworks can significantly improve pharmacists' performance by evaluating performance, identifying knowledge gaps, and adapting learning activities. The meta-analysis results showed a significant increase in the odds of improved competency behavior, but further evaluative studies are needed to confirm this effect.
