Recurrence of retained placenta in multiple consecutive deliveries

Summary: The study revealed that induction of labor and epidural analgesia were independently associated with an increased risk of recurrent retained placenta among parturient. Additionally, having a complete retained placenta in the index delivery also increased the risk of recurrence.
