A new method for the synthesis of fully substituted 3-haloisoxazoles has been developed, involving the synthesis of isoxazoline N-oxides from alpha-halonitroalkenes followed by dehydration mediated by the silyl triflate/triethylamine system.
A new method was developed for the synthesis of fully substituted 3-haloisoxazoles. This process includes the synthesis of isoxazoline N-oxides from alpha-halonitroalkenes and subsequent dehydration mediated by the silyl triflate/triethylamine system. (C) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
