Effect of gender affirming hormones on athletic performance in transwomen and transmen: implications for sporting organisations and legislators

Summary: The study found that transgender women's athletic advantage over cisgender women decreased after feminizing hormone therapy, but they still had a 9% faster mean run speed. Transgender men's athletic performance improved to match that of cisgender men after masculinizing hormone therapy.
