Recent Progress on Layered Cathode Materials for Nonaqueous Rechargeable Magnesium Batteries

Summary: Rechargeable magnesium batteries (RMBs) are considered promising due to their high safety and low cost of magnesium resources. One of the main challenges is developing high-performance cathode materials, with layered materials showing potential due to their high capacity and easy synthesis processes. This review focuses on recent progress and effective strategies for improving the electrochemical performance of layered cathode materials in RMBs, providing guidance for their further development.
