The sorbents based on mesoporous MCM-41 silica were synthesized by impregnation of N',N'-dimethylhydrazides of branched Versatic acids at different modification times. The optimal conditions for the adsorption extraction and separation of rhenium (VII) and molybdenum (VI) ions were determined, showing an adsorption mechanism involving external and internal diffusion. The adsorption isotherms were described by the Freundlich equation for an energetically inhomogeneous surface.
The sorbents based on mesoporous MCM-41 silica have been synthesized via the impregnation of N',N'-dimethylhydrazides of branched Versatic acids at different modification times. The textural and structural properties of the studied silicas have been determined. The optimal conditions for the sorption extraction and separation of rhenium (VII) and molybdenum (VI) ions have been determined. The adsorption mechanism has been shown to include the following two steps: first, the process is limited by external diffusion of the ions to the sorbent surface, then by internal diffusion. The adsorption isotherms are described by the Freundlich equation for an energetically inhomogeneous surface.
