YOLO-face: a real-time face detector

Weijun Chen et al.

Summary: Face detection is an important task in object detection, with deep learning-based algorithms showing rapid development. Although YOLO is fast, it lacks accuracy when dealing with small objects and objects with varying scales like faces. In order to improve performance, a face detector named YOLO-face based on YOLOv3 was proposed, which significantly increased accuracy while maintaining fast detection speed.
