Decreasing control of precipitation on grassland spring phenology in temperate China

Yongshuo H. Fu et al.

Summary: In temperate semi-dry grasslands in China, the start of spring phenology did not change significantly from 1982 to 2015, but there was a notable increase in interannual variability. Interestingly, the primary factor regulating spring phenology shifted from precipitation to temperature during this time period.
