NS34A resistance-associated substitutions in chronic hepatitis C in Upper Egypt and regression of liver fibrosis after direct-acting antiviral therapy

Nahed A. Makhlouf et al.

Summary: All patients in this study had HCV genotype 4a without any baseline RASs in the NS34A region. Additionally, there was an improvement in non-invasive measures of liver fibrosis in patients who achieved SVR 72 weeks after SMV/SOF therapy.
