Solitary Wave Interacting with a Submerged Circular Plate

Summary: This study investigated the interaction between a solitary wave and a submerged circular plate using analytical solutions and numerical simulations. Both methods showed wave focusing near the lee side of the circular plate, creating higher local wave heights than that of the incident wave.
