Magnetic and thermodynamic behaviors of a diluted Ising nanographene monolayer under the longitudinal magnetic field

Wei Wang et al.

Summary: Through Monte Carlo simulation, the magnetic and thermodynamic behaviors of the diluted ferromagnetic spin-3/2 Ising nano-graphene monolayer under the longitudinal magnetic field were explored. The effects of various parameters on magnetic phase transition and hysteresis behaviors were discussed, and phase diagrams for different physical parameters were presented, showing a strong dependence of hysteresis loop characteristics on selected parameters.

The magnetic behaviors and magnetocaloric effect of a nano-graphene bilayer: A Monte Carlo study

Lei Sun et al.

Summary: The influence of exchange couplings and the applied magnetic field on the magnetic behaviors and magnetocaloric effect of a ferromagnetic mixed-spin nano-graphene bilayer was investigated using Monte Carlo simulation. It was found that magnetic behaviors can be enhanced by increasing exchange couplings and the applied magnetic field. The maximum values of magnetic entropy change and adiabatic temperature change were found to increase near the critical temperature, with values increasing as exchange couplings decrease or applied magnetic field increases.

Summary: The study presents the synthesis of NiO nanospheres and NiO nanospheres deposited on rGO nanosheets through in-situ solvothermal method. The crystal structures, phases, and morphologies of the synthesized samples were confirmed by XRD, Raman, and TEM measurements. Further analysis using FT-IR, EDX, and XPS revealed detailed information about the chemical bonding and constituent elements of the nanocomposites. VSM experiments showed stable magnetic ordering and transitions in the synthesized samples, with calculated values indicating the presence of an inherent magnetocaloric effect.

Summary: In this study, the dynamic magnetic behaviors of a ferrimagnetic mixed spin-1 and spin-3/2 Ising ladder-type graphene nanoribbon under a time-dependent magnetic field were analyzed using Monte Carlo simulation. The impact of various factors on the magnetic properties and hysteresis behaviors of the system was investigated, revealing the possibility of double-loop hysteresis behavior under certain parameters.

Magnetic and thermodynamic behaviors of the graphene-like quantum dots: A Monte Carlo study

Lei Sun et al.

Summary: Based on Monte Carlo simulation, the magnetic and thermodynamic behaviors of graphene-like quantum dots were investigated using a ferrimagnetic mixed-spin (3/2, 5/2) Ising model. The study revealed an interesting turnover phenomenon due to competition between crystal field and temperature, with blocking temperature increasing as crystal field decreases or exchange coupling and external magnetic field increase. Additionally, it was found that certain parameters preclude triple-loop hysteresis behavior in the hysteresis loops, with loop area improvement possible by adjusting exchange coupling, crystal field, and temperature values.
