Indications for, and outcomes of, end ileostomy revision procedures

Summary: This retrospective study reviewed end ileostomy revision surgeries in a tertiary center and analyzed indications, procedures, outcomes, and risks. The study found that complications from end ileostomies are common and surgical treatment can result in significant morbidity, readmission, and reoperation. Patients should be informed about these possibilities before undergoing surgery.
