Fast Calibrated Additive Quantile Regression

Matteo Fasiolo et al.

Summary: The study introduces a novel framework for fitting additive quantile regression models, which offers well-calibrated inference about conditional quantiles and fast estimation of smoothing parameters. The proposed methods are both statistically rigorous and computationally efficient, based on a belief updating framework and stable fitting methods.
