Generalized differential quadrature scrutinization of an advanced MHD stability problem concerned water-based nanofluids with metal/metal oxide nanomaterials: A proper application of the revised two-phase nanofluid model with convective heating and through-flow boundary conditions

Abderrahim Wakif et al.

Summary: The present numerical investigation focuses on the optimum characteristics of magneto-convection phenomenon in Newtonian nanofluids. The study reveals the influence of convective heating and a uniform through-flow process on the stability of the nanofluids, and provides a mathematical model for the non-homogeneous MHD convective flow. The results indicate that the suction and injection effects have different behaviors on system evolution, and the magnetic Lorentz forces and nanomaterials loading contribute to system stabilization. However, the diameter size of nanoparticles and the thermal Biot number have a destabilizing effect on the nanofluidic medium.

Abderrahim Wakif et al.

Summary: This study investigated the effects of thermal radiation and surface roughness on the dynamics of water conveying alumina and copper oxide nanoparticles. It found that increasing Lorentz forces, thermal radiation, and surface roughness enhanced the appearance of convection cells, while stability decreased with higher volumetric fraction and diameter of nanomaterials. Substituting alumina nanoparticles with copper oxide nanoparticles significantly stabilized the hybrid nanofluidic medium.

Summary: The current study examines the impact of carbon nanotubes suspended magnetohydrodynamics micropolar dusty nanofluid impinging on a permeable extending sheet placed in a porous regime. The shooting method is used to obtain numerical solutions of the transformed-converted system of nonlinear equations. Increase in suction parameter decreases flow velocity and temperature, while injection increases them. An increase in magnetic strength results in an increase in skin friction and heat transfer rate.
